  grades k-2 and their parents to have fun together with reading. This 
 free event features a variety of activities and games to encourage eve
 ryday reading and learning.\n\nTogether you and your child will make m
 emories through the joy of reading. Participate in a series of interac
 tive stations that will have you creating a comic strip\, enjoying the
 ater readings\, making a cootie catcher for story talk- and so much mo
 re. Ideas such as story elements\, sequencing\, following directions a
 nd visualization will be explored. No special knowledge or previous ex
 perience is necessary.\n\nTest your reading skills-you’ll leave with
  a goody bag and a smile!
