DESCRIPTION:Families Together’s mission is to create an atmosphere o
 f lifelong learning. Families are invited to spend time together explo
 ring a topic inspired by the Smithsonian’s collections. Different ac
 tivities are available for infants\, toddlers\, preschoolers\, and ear
 ly elementary aged children. Each class will focus on a specific artwo
 rk or object and a related topic. Play stations will be available for 
 the hour\, and an educator-led experience\, centered around the object
 \, will take place inside a museum. Explore\, wonder\, observe\, and l
 earn!  \n\nClasses will gather in the Smithsonian Early Enrichment Cen
 ter’s classroom for exploration and then go on a museum visit for a 
 closer look at an object.
