DESCRIPTION:Learn about the Blackfeet Nation and the many aspects uniq
 ue to Blackfeet culture through this two-day festival. The Blackfeet R
 eservation\, located in northwestern Montana along the eastern slopes 
 of the Rocky Mountains\, is home one of the 10 largest tribes in the U
 nited States\, with more than 17,000 enrolled members. \n\nBlackfeet a
 rtists\, performers\, historians and culture bearers will share demons
 trations and performances throughout the festival weekend. Highlights 
 will include seasonally appropriate dances and stories\, and demonstra
 tions of making traditional regalia from the hides of buffalo\, deer\,
  elk and antelope. During the celebration\, visitors can see tradition
 al and contemporary artistic creations\, including beadwork\, handcraf
 ted jewelry\, quillwork\, pottery\, horsehair work\, moccasins\, carvi
 ngs and baskets.
