DESCRIPTION:The Black Student Fund and Latino Student Fund Independent
  School Fair is a forum for Washington metropolitan area families to m
 eet with representatives from more than 70 local national independent 
 schools and educational programs. Each year\, 3,000 parents and prospe
 ctive students receive firsthand knowledge about the schools’ progra
 ms\, communities\, admission\, and financial aid process. One of the l
 argest in the region\, the fair also features workshops on academic ac
 hievement\, diversity\, and other educational and wellness issues. The
  independent School Fair will be held at the Washington Convention Cen
 ter on Sunday\, September 29\, 2019\, from 2-5pm.
