DESCRIPTION:I am writing to let you know about the 2014 National Trade
 mark Expo.  The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) will
  host the Expo on Friday\, October 17\, from 10 am to 5 pm\, and Satur
 day\, October 18\, from 10 am to 4 pm\, at the USPTO’s headquarters 
 in Alexandria\, Virginia.  \n\nThe Expo is a free\, family-friendly ev
 ent designed to educate the public about trademarks which includes:\n\
 n•	Educational workshops and activities for children and adults\n•
 	Numerous exhibits featuring trademarks\n•	Displays comparing counte
 rfeit goods with authentic goods\n•	Costumed characters and inflatab
 les featuring trademarks\n•	Trademark Activity Guides\n•	Small giv
 eaways featuring trademarks \n\nAt children’s workshops\, there will
  be\, games\, quizzes\, and fun and informative presentations about wh
 at trademarks are\, why trademarks matter\, and what it means to “re
 gister” a trademark.  Adult seminars include Trademarks 101\, Counte
 rfeiting and Piracy – Why Buy “Legit”?\, and Trademark Basics: W
 hat Every Small Business Should Know.  The workshops and seminars will
  run once an hour on Friday and Saturday. \n\nField trips are welcome!
