The PG Parents Alliance for Educational Options (PG-PAEO) and the Black Student Fund (BSF) present the Fourth Annual Maryland School Choice Fair on January 25, 2025. Tickets are FREE. The event is sponsored by National School Choice Week. What: An education bazaar helping families learn about k-12 schooling options in the DMV, Summer Camps/Programs and an HBCUs. Event Description: The Maryland School Choice fair will showcase more than 40 schools including public schools, public charter schools, specialty schools, faith schools, microschools, online schools, boarding schools and home schools. The Fair will also feature representatives from more than 20 summer programs and activities coordinated by DMV area Mocha Moms. The Fair will include two workshops: The ABCs Of Independent Schools and Five Tips for Finding the Right School for Your Child . The Maryland School Choice Fair will feature Higher Learning: A Taste of the HBCU tradition with alumni admissions tables, a Step-And-Scroll Drumline and an HBCU academic workshop. T Families will be entertained by DC Retro Jumpers (double dutch) and facepainting as well as a raffle by Greenbelt Cinema and a book give away.
