The Journey School is a newly formed non-profit (501c(3) pending approval) middle school beginning in August 2015, serving ages 12 – 14 located in Ashton, Maryland. This unique middle school program is based on the philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori and features work with the land and community. Students will participate in service learning and internships with local businesses and farms as well as be responsible for care and maintenance of the school’s physical environment and equipment. In addition, students will engage in a school based micro economy where they will learn about economic independence and financial responsibility. Following the Montessori methodology, lessons will be fully integrated, hands-on, and project based.

On Saturday, April 25, Kimberly Graham will be here. She's cast the TV show Homeland, the movie Avatar and a number of other projects. She will teach cold reading for tv auditions.
