Trek (The Migration Project) at Atlas INTERSECTIONS Festival - Jane Franklin Dance by admin, last updated: Jan 19, 2017 11:46 AM
Trek explores flight through stories of relocation. Whether it is a family history dating back multiple generations, or a recent relocation, something is shared through the ‘pull’ to find better opportunity or the ‘push’ to leave because of no choice. Trek features stories of relocation alongside excerpts from Black Ice, tracing the movement of animals, birds, climate and the changing environment. The concert concludes with a participation activity – Let your story be heard. Presented as part of the Atlas INTERSECTIONS Festival (at the) Atlas Performing Arts Center, Feb 24 – Mar 5, 2017
