Do you find your child singing all the time? The American Youth Chorus is a performance-based after-school program for singers 8-14. Rehearsals take place on Capitol Hill at CHAW. Families belong together. Let’s turn our collective heartbreak into support for families devastated by separation at the US border. Flow Yoga Center, Washington National Cathedral, Extend Yoga, DAREdaily, and the DC Community Yoga Association are teaming up on SATURDAY JULY 14 at 6:30pm. Hundreds of people will gather for an outdoor yoga class on the beautiful North Lawn of the Washington National Cathedral, turning our collective heartbreak into support. Join us to help send thousands of dollars to help advocate for and reunite separated families. 100% of the proceeds of this event will go to Together Rising to fund organizations working on the ground to reunite families, provide legal support, and bring healing in the face of trauma. ​Suggested donation ​to attend ​$25….$50...$75 or more​.​ ​Your donation is your registration for the event. Simply make your donation here on this page, and then come to the event​! ​​ Anything you can give will go a long way in helping reunite families.​ We have a sliding scale so no one will be turned away. Can’t attend? Please consider making a donation spirit of this event to help send thousands of dollars to local organizations working on the ground to reunite families, provide legal support, and bring healing in the face of trauma.
