The Black Student Fund and Latino Student Fund Independent School Fair is a forum for Washington metropolitan area families to meet with representatives from more than 70 local national independent schools and educational programs. Each year, 3,000 parents and prospective students receive firsthand knowledge about the schools’ programs, communities, admission, and financial aid process. One of the largest in the region, the fair also features workshops on academic achievement, diversity, and other educational and wellness issues. The independent School Fair will be held at the Washington Convention Center on Sunday, September 29, 2019, from 2-5pm.
