She already knows I prohibit her getting a new car, I told her she can rematch if she wants to drive that badly and she said she would rather stay with our family than have her own car.

I don’t understand. Why would she be involved in the money part of this accident? Our Aupair just wrecked our car. We have Geico insurance and other than giving her story to the insurance, she wasn’t involved at all.
Why would she get a check?
Why didn’t her insurance cover the ambulance?
Why would you even get her medical bills?
All of this makes zero sense. I can 100% guarantee if we called our LCC and said we wanted our Aupair to pay a $2k bill, she would tell us this is a ridiculous amount for an Aupair to owe (10 weeks of pay) and that if we didn’t want to gift it, we shouldn’t have paid it. They can negotiate a lower payment if they don’t have coverage but they company isn’t going to get involved in a personal dispute.
How well do you do your job when you hate your boss?
Unless your kids are telling you she’s an amazing aupair who is super nice to them, I wouldn’t assume she treats them well but is clearly treating everyone else with disrespect.
Why would you pay $3K for the ambulance ride? She should have insurance. You are the problem. Why did she get money as it was your car and insurance. Give her two weeks notice and go into rematch. Tell her you are deducting her pay from the money she owes you. No more driving in your home.
If you aren't a troll, you are really a doormat. Childcare cannot be worth this drama.
She lies, wrecks your car, somehow gets you to hand over 3,000 and you still let her watch your kids?
Sounds like they are in *great* hands during the day.

Wow, no.
I would have an immediate sit down with the LCC. She got money, she needs to pay up to that amount to make up the difference.
