They’re a great company if you don’t like then by all means

It’s not about liking them or not. You don’t sound professional, but you are representing them.

I see their ads posted on care.com looking for nannies often. However, they boast that they are selective.

You don't exactly sound professional. Not a good representation for WHN.

A lot of nannies speak more than one language with English being a second or third language. How many languages do you speak?

So that gives them a pass to not sound professional?

Hear it straight from the source:
"The current average hourly rate for nannies in DC is $18-$22 per hour for a live-out nanny. We encourage you to choose a rate that falls in this range and is based on your experience and the requirements of the position. If you are seeking a live-in position, factor in the room and board that will be provided when determining your salary range."

Qualifications?
-flawless English
-2-3 Excellent, glowing references
-legal to work
-5 years experience

So enough on the $35 jobs.

Thanks, WHN, you trolls. Stop pretending with the broken English. You fools.

This is true. No self-respecting professional nanny would go near them.

Most nannies I know hate them.

Huh?

Depends on too many factors to know.
How old is the child and are there any special needs?
Is the nanny expected to stay home or can she schedule activities and play dates? Reimbursement, petty cash or house card?
Guaranteed hours and schedule?
Location? How close to metro? Is parking available?
Paid vacation? How much can nanny choose? Pto/sick?
Household duties?
How many prior caregivers?
