It doesn't mean all of them want to sue or that they even can locate a fraction of this number.
The way to works is that the attorney just defines a class as everyone who was an au pair during a certain period.
Just like other class actions that count us and many times we don't even know it.

Sure but HP are involved. Each of you had 1 Au pair for let's say 1 year.

The lwsuit isn’t against HPs. It’s against the agencies.

Hmm... If you would take 19000 families multiplied by 9 years and compare it with number of Au pairs which is 91000 over 9 years it's about 53% of Au pairs who want to sue.
