More work, definitely yes, no question. But people who come on this board and say it's double the work just seem silly/mathematically challenged. It doesn't help the argument, and works against you (because everything you say is automatically discounted).

Just say it is requires additional skills, including multi-tasking, and a higher degree of flexibility and organizational skills, and therefore is worth more than only $1 per hour extra as compensation. Much better argument.

Yes, much better to spell it out for those who don't have a clue.
