This whole exchange is so strange. I'm always running errands for my MB. Picking up dry cleaning, various items at the grocery, or filling a prescription or whatever. I don't even consider it a favor. I'm out and about. What's it to me? Of I go to the grocery story I pick up a few things for myself. Same with CVS. How is this a big deal for some of you.

I have such a good relationship with my HF. They don't mind if I run my errands as well on occasion. I find that if I don't nit pick with my MB she doesn't nit pick me. See how that works? It's called a healthy relationship.

OP here - no. They are just random favors - switch days off, pick up something for MB while I am out with charge, babysit at night for she or one of her friends (that yes - I do get paid for). I can, and often do, say no - but I hate MB's response to my refusal and I am starting to hate being asked.
