Comments - I love my NF and am so thankful for the my yearly bonus and time off - I also LOVED my gifts and was blown away at how much they gave me. I am a lucky nanny.
Anonymous wrote:Well according to what I read when I came on the nanny forums to get a sense of what was appropriate to give, it seems that nannies appreciate a gift AND a bonus for the holidays, so that's what I was trying to do. Also, I happen to know that my nanny and her boyfriend are foodies so they would (and did) appreciate the gift card to a recommended local restaurant.
The raise was about 10%. Not sure how I can tell if it is "accurate for the market" but it's a higher % raise than me or my husband got.

We love her and are so thankful that we found someone to love, care for and teach our little boy when we can't be there.
