So, you were a short term nanny whose family let you go because they moved to Europe.

How very...unbelievable.

Guess you weren't all that special.

Don't you have anything intelligent to share today?

Do you?

Your emotional development seems to have been disrupted during your adolescence. Did something happen to you?

If there were an intelligence bar to posting on DCUM, the nanny who hijacked this thread would be silent and we'd all be better off.

You just don't like what was said, and are unable to discuss the issues.

Do you also pity the pediatric psychiatrist MB and her physician husband who hired the nanny with child in tow? As you may recall, it was certainly no bargain. They simply wanted the best for their child, and could afford it.

However excellent that nanny is, she would be better without her child in tow. If the couple wanted their child to have a sibling, they would have had one. If she was able to find a position that worked for her, great, but it doesn't mean she is a better nanny BECAUSE she brings her child. Parents who want company for their singleton have a variety of options of getting it. They don't need to effectively hire one who happens to be their nanny's child.

Your child didn't make you "the very best nanny". You just happened to have it. You'd be the same nanny without the child. Stop pretending otherwise.

I never said my child made me the best nanny. If you think I did, please show us where you found that.
