Same thing to me......
Anonymous wrote:The original idea behind using cameras when hiring a brand-new Nanny was due to the fact that some children were being abused and/or neglected.
Sadly, many of us would see the footage on the news occasionally of a Nanny shaking a baby, throwing a baby down hard or worse.
So people installed cameras for this purpose.
But now people are abusing this right to be able to film individuals in their homes, even secretly.
So we have Nannies suffering the effects of being penalized for simple things such as not being warm or loving enough.
Some Nannies even have their phone conversations listened to by their bosses if audio is on.
Cameras have turned from a safety tool ->> a legal way to be a secret voyeur which many find compelling.
Some folks like to actually watch another person through the lens and get a rush from it.
Especially since the person may not know if they are being watched at the time.
Back to the original topic:
In this day of wet nurses, meaning Mothers sharing their breast milk w/other Mothers....
How can feeding another child pre-chewed apple be such a big deal??!

Some of them would be happy you love their kids so much and other don't care. They prefer having someone cold like them that are not able to even give a sincere hug to their kids. They think they are only paying you for you do your job good. And only sees you as anmployer. On the other hand.. sorru for you; that you have to deal with these cameras, watched and filmed all they long. I respect that from parents; but also think that parents who really don't trust and don't feel that the nanny its the best for their family and their kids; just don't hire her. No one Nanny would like to be watched all that. That would be creepy. And the Nanny has all the right to work when she feel confortable and decline the Job if the Family has cameras; even if the paying it's a pretty good salary.

Any parent that doesn’t trust their Nanny just because the Nanny doesn’t want to work around cameras is not very bright.
If a Nanny really hates the cameras, she can either throw a towel on them or spend the entire day out at the park, library, etc.
Remember, every problem has a solution.
