Everyone should feel entitled to privacy and if someone cannot handle a camera on them 8-10 hours a day, 5 days a week, they shouldn’t be begrudged for it.
In truth people would feel a lot more relaxed at work w/out these nosy, intrusive cameras.

It’s not like I am doing something wrong.
I am not.
I just feel uncomfortable knowing I am being recorded both visually as well as anything I say being recorded.
And not knowing who is viewing the footage and where if will be stored.
Because with my dumb luck, I will receive a text or phone call when the family is watching and then they will assume that I have been on the phone much too long.
Or hear me tell my friend how much I hate this time of the month.
That my cramps are just awful!!

If this sounds like rubbish, then go online and read how this has happened to people who are being filmed.
Cameras can put a Nanny at a risk and that is a real threat to her safety + well-being.
That should never be compromised at all.

Bad experience much????
A few bad apples should not ruin the profession at all.
And you know, job performance can be negatively impacted with a camera stuck in your face your entire work shift.
Especially an unwanted camera.

To say that the only reason that a Nanny wouldn’t be okay w/being filmed is because she is on her phone all day!!
Truth be told, there are many Females who may just feel uncomfortable having a Male have full access to what she does & says in a day.
Stop being so close-minded.
Women need to be mindful around their Male bosses these days and for a Male to be watching his Nanny (+ listening to her!!) is opening up Pandora’s Box.
Especially if someone else were to see the man watching his Female Nanny often.
Like “checking in” every hour or so.
Very inappropriate.
When if he’s doing it and others are w/him.
Do they in turn see the footage too?
Can he even send it to them?
And what about hackers??!
Do they have access fully if they hack into the family’s camera system?
Google this.
It actually HAS happened before.
Orson Welles was damn right.
Big Brother IS always watching.
Privacy is now a luxury.
No longer a right.

I am a nanny. I know lots of other nannies. And this is the ONLY reason they don't like cameras. Don't be fooled by the nonsense-excuses on this thread, Parents.
