We even talked about it a few weeks ago when I was having a phone issue and she helped me get contacts out of the cloud. If her phone was broken how could the police officer trace it and see that it was on and moving?

Can you please tell me how this can be done??

I don't have icloud, I have a Samsung phone.

I'm serious poster!

The babysitter is 21, she has an iPhone, Samsung is for old people and "Frugal" shoppers.

I wouldn't know how to get phone numbers off of iCloud. I would be totally unable to contact some of the sitters I've used for my DD without my iPhone (so I can only assume the same is true in reverse); yes, she absolutely should have come to your house at some point and told you what happened in person, but maybe she really did have an urgent need to be out of town the next day? Anyway, if this is true (and I think, in the circumstances, there's no reason to assume it's not), the only part of her behavior I find really off is the lack of a phone call with an effusive apology.

Some people put their po box on their drivers license. Yes, you can do that, at least in most states, if not all.

This has been posted more than once basically.

Nanny/sitter doesn't show up.
Police are called but won't check.
Sitter finally makes contact with a story about tire problems and then phone problems. In one version the nanny needed money to get her tires replaced.

And I read too much dcum.

Jobs require it. Why wouldn't you require it for someone watching your kid?

Why do you need their address? What possible purpose, besides way overstepping professional boundaries, could this serve?

Why can't you hire someone you know from the neighborhood.
