MB here. This is what we did for our nanny who watched our oldest while I was in the hospital delivering #2. She didn't ask for it, but we paid this. It ended up being about $700 for 2.5 days on top of the regular weekly salary. Of course since the baby ended up arriving ahead of scheduled c-section, we ended up paying a larger portion toward OT on the Saturday we came home. Our daughter basically slept 10 hrs a night so that part was flat, but the rest outside of the 8 hr rate was OT.

I've never heard of this. Everyone I know pays 75 or 100 for overnight .
