No, the unborn fetus doesn't get a choice. It's the mother that has to be the incubator for the whole pregnancy and then raise it, so she gets the final choice.
There is this great thing called adoption. Babies don't need to be aborted, there are plenty of families who would love to have someone else's unwanted child.

OR have many more times will you have unprotected sex, if that's why you get knocked up in the first place? If you were my nanny, I would not want you near my kids, influencing irresponsibility like that! No way. Use contraception if not using it, caused you to get knocked up. -a fellow nanny
Back in seventh grade, one of my best friends had an abortion. Her stepfather had been raping her regularly for two years. Her mother didn't find out until she brought her to the doctor and found out she was pregnant. My friend works with kids now, in a public school, as a teacher. She's wonderful. Every year, countless women (and girls) have abortions for a variety of reasons. You are free to think that what they're doing is wrong - just as I am free to think you are a judgmental jackass who likes to kick others when they're down and thinks it's okay to snoop through other people's personal belongings. You don't know the OP's life and situation any better than the MB or DB (actually, it's almost 100% certain that you know less). I hope you're not a Christian, because from what I've read, God does not look kindly on those who go around doing the judging for him.

Anonymous wrote:00:18, back in the seventh grade, why didn't you tell anyone your best friend had been getting raped for two years? Either you're lying or she wasn't your best friend. Nice try.

Anonymous wrote:OP here and just to clarify a few things I believe the mom went through my purse while I was outside playing with my charges. I didn't hear her get home the other day and when she came out to tell me she was home she was acting weird, like overly cheery. When I went in to get my stuff to go, I noticed my purse was hung on a different hook than I usually put it on and when I opened it up I found my phone was not in the pocket I always keep it in. Maybe I'm paranoid, but if she did look at my phone she could have easily pulled up the text conversation I've been having with my sister on and off since I found out I was pregnant. They are a very religious and conservative family and I doubt they would have liked the idea if they did find out.
Anyway, I went in this morning and the dad was there and he told me they no longer needed me. I asked why several times and he just kept saying he didn't think I was the best fit for them anymore. He told me that the termination was affective immediately and he thought it was best if I just left before the kids woke up. At this point I was in tears so I just grabbed my stuff and left. I wasn't even able to say goodbye to the kids. At this point, I'm past being sad and I'm just angry. We did have a contract for the first year but after my review we just hadn't gotten around signing a new one. I took 3 sick days last week for the procedure and recovery. They were the first sick days I have taken with this family and I've been with them over a year.

BTW, the litigation loving PP is wrong on many fronts about contracts and "wrongful termination".
What do you feel litigation PP was wrong about?
