Oh please. I'm another nanny, and I do not like to have unnecessary vaccinations. However, it is situational. If I were to work for a family with immunocompromised members, then I would bend my rules (for myself) about shots. If you just want me to get a shot for the hell of it or because you don't want me to miss work (and your kid is not immunocompromised), then no... not happening.

Obviously you don't know anything about the booster. They say one booster for regular people during those years. Childcare providers are recommended to get it every 1-2 years.

Yes, I have been a nanny for this family for 6 months but I have 7 years of experience. Every family that I have EVER worked for has NEVER had a problem with me not getting the flu shot. Also, yes...I am 100% confident that they aren't "shopping" for a new nanny. I know how hard it was for them to have to hire and then let go two nannies until they found someone who "J" was comfortable enough to not cry ALL DAY with. They tell me REPEATEDLY how happy they are that they found me and that "J" is comfortable with me. So yes, I am pretty darn confident that they aren't going to try and go through that process again. But if for SOME REASON they did...I'd be fine with it and respect their decision. Not too hard to find another position.

Now please go back to your hole and stop stirring up drama.
