Some of the nannies on here need to learn basic punctuation and what nouns require capitalization if they want to make $25/hour for one kid. That’s equivalent to a third grade education so English being your second language is no excuse (unless you understand you will get a lower rate because of this).
PP was most likely typing on an iPhone. In the past few weeks, autocorrect has started to switch nannies to Nannie's for some reason. People have tried to change it in the settings/unlearn that mistake but it keeps correcting to the above error.

Anonymous wrote:It is evident that there are nannies on here trolling and passing judgments on families for the rates they pay, calling them cheap and "exploitative". If you do not like a rate, don't take the job. It is as simple as that. Go find a family willing to pay your demanded rate. Many nannies try to take advantage of families with their outrageous rates. Yet let's see them go and look for a job in any other field and see if they receive remotely the same rates they get as nannies. Most "supposed nannies" I have interviewed from this site hardly know English and are not professional nannies. They are just trying to find more money and are simply unqualified. I ask basic knowledge questions that every nanny should know and they don't even have a valid answer yet demand benefits, top pay, and go on and on about how they *only* certain duties. Some even lie and say they were doctors in their country. It is so obvious they were not. Give me a qualified nanny that speaks English and is certified and I will pay her a rate that commensurates with her experience. Historically depanding on my nannies experience and qualifications, I have paid $15-$20, plus benefits and a bonus. Those of you who do not like the rate, take a hike and find someone that welcomes you with open arms.
