Sounds like the Dad handled things professionally and took the high road. Good for him.

I don't think she will change but she might think twice in the future about taking away approved vacation time.

I just wanted to post a small update. Former DB sent me a very polite message and asked me if I could tell him what happened exactly. I told him how she rescinded my approved vacation time and I sent him a screen shot of the e-mail. I also mentioned that she was late all the time and that was another reason I quit.

After I sent him the e-mail he replied with thank you and that he apologized for what happened and wished me well in my future endeavors.

I can only imagine what his wife told him. I don't think he believed her so he asked me.

I usually get paid on Friday but I received a notification from my bank that I have my final paycheck deposited already. Hopefully I won't hear from them again. There is no reason for them to contact me.

I still have my classes and I have been keeping busy with studying but I am loving this free time.

I’m confused. Doesn’t your contract stipulate you need to give notice before you Quit? Ours does for either party.

Yes our contract required a 2 week notice which I did not give.

I would have told the Dad how rude she was to you. That was the important part.
