Please send the email. It is a matter of liability and you cannot afford to get blamed for something she told you to do in the future. Plus, do you really think that is the last you have seen of those nasty-assed relatives?!

You would be a fool to let it go - a fool in the true sense of the word. Word it politely and professionally but put it out on the table. Do it for your own protection, OP. When this happens in the future - and this will happen in the future - you will have a paper trail.

Anonymous wrote:I am a MB and mom of twins (one with SN) and I am just amazed at the two MBs that blamed the nanny for the eloping children when their relatives were clearly at fault. It is so difficult to find a good nanny for SN children and one that can handle twins or two SN kids is just golden. Sorry you had to deal with that. I would have apologized for my relatives immediately and never blamed you. Hope the MB sees the light before she loses you or her kids.
