She scans it with her phone and the video plays of you explaining how to use it. It’s easier to work with a good person that replacing her with someone else with issues. At the end of the day is your child safe, does she love your child? Is he forming a health attachment to her. If all answers are yes then give it time to work out the rest. Find a way for her to learn. Some of us are visual learner rather than auditory so find out what her learning style is.
