Because I have something else now that makes me happy. It pays well, I love the kids and the parents are great.
I don't want to put anymore time into it. If I end up going to court over it, families in the future might think I'm difficult and skip over me.

They owe me my pay from last week, if I don't get it I will take them to the small claims court. It's $500 but I didn't work a 40 hour week for free.
No. I never got my pay. Decided to let it go.
I'm not in the DC area.
Why would you let it go? You might not even need to go to small claims court, but rather give the Department of Labor a call.
