Honestly, are you drinking? I have no clue what you are trying to ask me or insinuate, PP. Are you asking if my children demand things? No, my children do not demand anything - they can ask but they have no "demands" of either me, DH or their nanny.

Nanny here. I'm never late, always arrive in a good mood, and rarely text. If I do text it's during a break/if the kids are getting ready for the day or something like that. And it's only if someone needs to know something, like a family or friend I may have plans with later on or need something from the store.

Are you asking me or OP? I'm one of the four nannies who has never been late, always pretends to be in a good mood and doesn't bring my personal phone to work with me. Last I checked, I was not a robot.

: Epic Fail. If I can, there have been times I have had to use nanny time to talk and text to my boyfriends or my BFF. Very rarely, but I would admit it has happened a few times. I have an number 4 for you OP. My son's nanny has never been late and always seems to be in a good mood and happy to see him in the morning. Further, she carries her phone just for DH and I to reach her and does not text or talk to anyone else while she is working. And beyond all that, she is a wonderful nanny!!
I have come to understand from engaging in nanny-comparisons at work that our son's nanny is a rarity. We are very lucky to have found her.

I have been late several times and I do that to the parents who never let you leave on time..So I'm usually 5 minutes or so late in the morning, but I could never get out until like 15-30 minutes or more past my end time..
And before people get nasty here..when I interviewed for the job I was told the hours was 8-7..I asked why such long hours...She said they left at 8 and came home at 6:30..only after a couple weeks you learn the THEIR set schedule..Dad leaves at 8...mom leaves at 9:30-10 or 11 . Some days..she a therapist so she sets her own hours...then dad goes to the gym...gets home around 7...mom gets home some days 4:30-5 or 6...She does all her shopping and errands..
I totally felt lied to and taken, so then I started taking my daughter to school if that made me late or cutting it close I did not care..Why should I rush to their house to watch them have breakfast or watch mom play with the kids....did not text at work but short conversations with my husband and kids...who can be out of touch for 11 plus hours...and tried to smile no matter what...
