I live in Atlanta, which is very, very warm. I prefer to wear flip flops or sandals during the summer months, as they're easy to slip on and off while chasing after little ones. I walk barefoot in the homes of my MB/DB and in those of longtime babysitting clients.
When I am hired to babysit for someone I've never met, I plan my clothing around what I can wear with socks and shoes...which means I am usually sweltering or I also take socks to put on. I always try to be considerate and respectful of others in their homes, but it's kind of a pain. I don't want to ask someone right as I'm meeting them if I should wear socks in their house.
Do you mind if a babysitter walks barefoot in your home?
Please don't be mean. This is an honest question.
What's next, it's so hot that you want to wear a halter too and very short shorts? You are supposed to be a professional so dress like one!
