If a nanny wanted to have to put on a corporate costume every day, she would work in an office. We work with kids, we play in the dirt, and the kids don't give a crap what we look like.

OP here.
All the kids always loved my hair. Even picking up my charges from school, kindergarten, etc., someone always stopped me to say they loved it.
Maybe that's why I was a little shocked that my hair was an issue.
That MB who didn't hire me because of that, certainly had the right to do so, but she could have just said so at the beginning.
I don't know, maybe she thought my hair doesn't look like that every day, who knows.
I've had my hair colored like this for 10+ years and I don't plan on changing it.
It seems like a lot of people here are against hiring a nanny with hair like mine, and that's ok.
I know I will find another family who will hire me and my hair won't be an issue
