It's one thing to say you'll be home at 6pm and sometimes it's 6:30 or 7pm and pay through the whole time. Another thing not to pay through the whole time.

I am not a flexible nanny and have never represented myself as such. I am never late for work and I need my employers to never be late when relieving me. Being very upfront about this has made it a non-issue for me. Neither or my two employers are ever late.

That said, when you interview or read an ad for a position, you should be very clear about your expectations and needs. This ad seems very clear to me. I see no problem with asking for what you want/need as long as you are asking for legal services.

Can they do that at daycare? hell NO!!

You can do that at daycare. I have had my kids at daycare. You are allowed to have them there during the time the daycare is open, and most (in my area) were open from 6am-6:30pm. The fact that you expected to be there from 8am-5:30pm, but were actually there from 7:30am-6:00pm would not phase them.

That's because you PAID for it. Duh.

No. They charge one flat rate for everyone. I don't pay extra to have my kid there longer.

This.

You are no more a nanny thsn you are a super model. You are a cheap MB.

Ain't that the truth. Nannies move on from abusers like her.
