But a "haha what crazy things have you been asked to do" thread definitely mocks your MB and encourages others to do the same. That's fine, I guess, although it makes me think less of you than if you were venting to a closed private group or to your IRL friends. This is a forum for both nannies and parents. But whatever.y
I wasn't hostile. I just pointed out to the unfortunate PP who believed this thread was populated by real MBs asking real questions. It isn't. It's a thread of cut and paste postings from trolls (seriously, everyone knows the SUV poster is a troll...maybe even a nanny troll) and beat a dead horse misquotes from bitter nannies (the food questions no MB asked). If you want to associate yourself with such bitter and misinformed nannies, go ahead. Just be honest about it.
I understand this but a majority of my IRL friends who could actually relate are nannies in the same area. Now correct me if I am wrong but this is anonymous? So venting with the understanding that unless you use something very specific it won't come back to bite you, is better than venting to someone who if they said something to the wrong person even on accident could potentially cause a hostile work environment. Either way most of the families I have worked for have never done these things, and would probably laugh at this thread too! The only ones who may be offended are those bosses mom/dad who treat their nanny like this.

Sorry 11:18. This is a mb direct quote.
Utterly embarrassing, but true.
We'd like to think that most nannies and mb's are intellegent, fair and thoughtful. In spite of our best hopes and wishes, however, there are some bad apples who should not be nannies, nor nanny employers.
Certainly we can all agree with that fact.

Actually, PART of that is an exact quote. Some of it is your editorializing.
FYI, the part in quotes is an exact quote.
Do you really need to be told the obvious?
So....only the description of the car is an exact quote. The rest of your comment is just made up to mock the MB.
Do you really need to be told the obvious?
In case you do, you're the kind of nasty and judgmental nanny that ruins the reputations of better nannies on this board.
