I really don't buy the update.

unless it was downpouring or raining all day, MB may not have realized it was raining. I know that I am not always aware of the weather unless it's coming down hard or one of those miserable never lets up days.

Please. I'm a MB. I don't blame the OP at all for leaving. Was it the most mature thing to do? No, but I would agree that it was disrespectful for the mom to leave her outside in the rain. That would have been a huge red flag for me as well.

Really people?? The MB was rude point blank. OP may have been over dramatic, and immature about it, but that MB was rude. If you have an appointment with someone and you hear them t the door, you DO NOT tell them to wait outside while you finish your phone conversation. It was rude. And OP does not deserve the bashing you all are giving her.

That's exactly the problem. If she weren't desperate, no way would she have invited you back.
