I'm disappointed due to the fact that I will now have less pay next month than I was counting on. Her reasoning was to start her new nanny sooner rather than later. Trying to be understanding, but I'm really disappointed because initially she agreed to my end date and now is ending it sooner. Is this worth making an issue of?
You shouldn't have a baby if you can't afford it OP.
Let's be honest here.
What she can't afford is a deceptive employer.
Lesson learned. No notice next time.
See how that works?
Doesn't really matter, no one is going to hire a nanny with a child, thats just asking to become real familiar with last minute on-call sitters.
What is she talking about? Lots of nannies have families.

Sorry, OP. I'm a MB and would never do this. I would have paid you to train the other nanny if she needed to start sooner. Congratulations on your baby.
The above MB is a fine example of integrity.
We need more employers like her.

Misspelling 3rd grade spelling words, as someone charge with the care and education of little ones doesn't make you sound all that smart. You can get defensive and call me names, or you can check your posts for spelling and people might take you seriously.
