In any job there is always a chance an employer will choose to have you leave immediately after you give notice. It isn't a phenomenon unique to the nanny world.

What is she talking about? Lots of nannies have families.
And lots of nannies are illegal immigrants and work for $5 an hour. What is your point? We are talking about REAL nannies.

Sorry, OP. I'm a MB and would never do this. I would have paid you to train the other nanny if she needed to start sooner. Congratulations on your baby.
The above MB is a fine example of integrity.
We need more employers like her.
