My parents were against me being a nanny in the beginning saying that I will be poor my whole life. I'm hoping within the next 3 years that I will have a networth including my home of 1 million dollars. I'm getting close. I do online paid surveys, donate plasma and do extra babysitting and I try and live off that money or even 1/4 of that extra money every month so I never have to touch my actual salary from my nanny job. As a nanny I have no bills. Paid cell phone , paid health insurance, car, gas and insurance provided. I travel to wonderful places with the family I work for. I have my own basement apartment in their home and they have an in home gym I work out in almost daily. Having a cleaning service clean my basement apartment once a week and change my sheets/ make my bed is very nice. Driving a range rover is pretty awesome as well.

#2 perk is any and all outings we wanna do are paid for, within reason of course, so i get to be a great nanny and Mommy because we're always busy at the park, zoo, museum, story times, play dates, indoor play areas, etc.

Best perk of all: getting to watch a child grow. It's fascinating and beautiful.

You are blessed with a super smart MB!
Seriously! Im jealous. I said something offhand about my future children the other day and my MB looked horrified.
