I think very little of my employers' parenting.

You tell me how wonderful I am and that you'd be lost without me but you expect me to give you my all and to give nothing in return. You scoffed at my request for a raise after 3 years, you come home early all the time ignore your kids and still make me stay til 7 when I could gone home to mine, and you stay home sick constantly getting the kids and myself sick yet refuse to give me any paid sick days. I secretly hate you, and am counting the days until my contract is up! My days as a nanny will be over and I can tell you to go fuck yourself.

I disagreed with some of the things you did with your baby, but never brought it up.
I didn't mind going above and beyond when I was able to, but became frustrated when you started taking advantage of it or expecting it.
I felt a bit slighted when it ended.
And I really, really miss your child. I don't want to be a full time career nanny for that reason. There's no guarantees or stability and you bond with a child only to have it end.

Relax, everyone. 10:15 sounds to me like an uneducated nanny trying to make potential employers doubt the value of an ECE degree.
My confession is that no matter how carefully MB tries to explain exactly how she does every little thing (use this washcloth and one teaspoon of soap to wash his hair, play this song during lunch every day), I just form my own routine. I listen to her and ask about the reasoning behind things, but trying to copy MB's technique doesn't fool any baby ever. They know I'm not mommy, so I respect that and we have our own rituals that make him comfortable with me.

You are a shining example of why my BIL and SIL are convinced that young nannies are just in it for the easy money. What you are doing is fraud, plain and simple. I hope your MB or DB finds out and takes legal action.

You are the reason why people can't trust their nannies. I understand not wanting your MB to give you additional tasks but to flat out lie about your day with her child is just wrong. Do you even enjoy being a nanny?
