This is so tiresome. People using an agency aren’t doing so because they are looking for the cheapest possible and who wants a single person housekeeper when every cleaning company has a whole team that can do the same thing in a much shorter amount of time? It’s a job with extremely low barriers to entry so to pretend that anyone with bad experience is cheap is delusional.
A lot of parents expect the nanny to do housekeeping tasks so they don’t have to pay the housemaid/housekeeper. Most DCUM parents are well known to pay below market therefore those who can afford to have FT Nannies use the agencies, agencies charged about 8%of annual nanny salary (nanny doesn’t get any$$$)from agencie other than what agreed on contract say $32/hourly on guaranteed hours plus all benefits.

Nanny Poppinz: One candidate said they did not believe in vaccines and they have the cure to everything---it's special water from god that makes you poop to cure your ailment
Need a New Nanny Yesterday: Flaky candidates all around.
Please tell Susan at Nanny Poppinz about any nanny like the one described. She’ll make sure you don’t get any similar nannies again.

Being vaccinated has been a standard requirement for me for 20+ years.
Who would want to hire a nanny who won’t get vaccinated for pertussis and the flu?

Anonymous wrote:OMG, there are stupid vaccine deniers in DMV? Not even talking about covid vaccines, but how can they deny regular vaccinations to their child? And then we wonder why we have those measles outbreaks...An agency specializing in anti-science nannies is something hew to me. I just want to believe that this cannot be true.
