Hahaha I realize this thread is so old but just gotta say I love this nanny. Americans really do feed their kids garbage! It’s a systemic issue. But yea, hope you didn’t call CPS. Hope everything got better as divorce moved along.

They don’t even care about physical abuse if there are no visible injuries.

Given how many fat kids are running around and how little parents care about nutrition, CPS definitely won't care if the last parents don't.

In case you all don’t already know, there’s tons of corruption within CPS, like unfairly taking the child from the home only to have the child suffer through the foster case nightmare.

But certainly not all of CPS is corrupted.

+1. Don't do it OP. It's not professional over "bread" and scratch that reference if you do! I would never hire such a pill

The OP has to be a troll. And I can’t believe how ignorant many of you are in regard to what CPS is for. You sound ridiculous. And I’m a size 2, not that it matters AT ALL what size a person disagreeing with this insane CPS stuff is. This site is embarrassing. And I hate that people associate it with DC when most of you live in a suburb 45 miles out.

I don’t see how the nanny is being attacked; you can’t be that sensitive with the raw true

Not CPS issue and not of your business whatever the parents are going through, it’s between them. Unfortunately, you’re caught in a toxic situation and need to give notice and move on. You’re the nanny nothing more nothing less, it’s sucks not to be able to advocate for the child but all you can do is finding a better job for yourself, best of luck.

+1. OP lives in la la land if she thinks this is worth reporting.

Horrible. It’s disgusting what the average American eats . They don’t know what food is.

I wouldn't call CPS, but I would consider getting another position, as it seems that you are not a good fit for the family. You have different childcare expectations and unfortunately, it's their child and you can't force them to feed him any differently.
