She has only been in the US since the middle of October and two weeks she was quarantining so our area is new to her. She'd love to go visit the DC monuments and walk around outside. She totally gets it and wants to stay healthy. (She even shared she had pneumonia one year ago herself and really is afraid to get COVID b/c she could get complications possibly.) She is from a country with just as bad COVID as our country right now and doesn't feel like an indentured servant. We are really happy with the way the conversation ended!

They are exploited for low pay and little ability to leave. Oh, sounds like an AP who comes here for a cultural exchange and can’t go anywhere.
The program should be on pause.

Please stop telling yourself what you are doing is ok. Human traffickers say the same thing. Oh, this is better than the girl is treated at home.
Shame. You know it. Own it.

Trafficking victims are being locked up because the traffickers are exploiting them for meager pay and to avoid police and law enforement and escape. HFs are imposing rules o keep people safe from a pandemic and to keep all involved safe. Signed--someone who actually works with trafficking survivors.
So you don’t agree that any HFs are abusing APs at all? Wow. Whatever you tell yourself to sleep at night! Your moral relativism is appalling.
