You sound like a very wonderful employer.

I would likely have my child make her a homemade “Thank You” card.
And perhaps some baked goods such as cookies or cupcakes.

Or a token of self-treatment such as a body wash/lotion/fragrance mist gift set.

Who wants cookies or cupcakes or a homemade card from a kid. This is just more crap to throw away. Give her a gold locket with all your pics. It is meaningful and not just more junk.

I have to disagree w/this.
I would love to receive a homemade card from my Nanny Child.
I am a Nanny & in fact have kept many cards over the years that I definitely do not consider “junk.”

It seems many people here who responded have “champagne” tastes.
I am more simple, I suppose.

If you keep all those crappy cards, you're a hoarder.

I am a nanny and would be happy with weighted blanket as a gift. One of my families years ago gave me a very expensive spa gift certificate, I was so frustrated as I never would go there, such waste of money. I had to spend it over years and years buying just one product over and over hat I had a use for, but it was so unnecessary. I didnt say anything but they guessed my reaction and now just give me $200-$300 target or costco cards for christmas. So much better, god bless them.
