Do you also “check out” all of the friends that she ha ha out with? What if she finds a boyfriend, do you get to run a background check on him too?
You either abide by the rules or not. As you’re now finding out, once you start to break the rules, you do not then get the right to control to what extent (as long as it is not interfering with your schedule / childcare needs.
Lastly, I highly doubt that your AP is just getting used for school pick ups, etc and that’s it. If you said 20-25 hours I’d find it more believable :/.
I find it so strange that someone would think I would lie about this. The babysitting is her choice, not sure why I would have any reason to lie about her schedule.
She worked a lot more last month when the kids were off school. She picks the kids up at 3:15 and I am home between 4:30 and 6 every day.
We need an AP for the random sick, snow, crazy work days more than full-time childcare. Not sure why there would be any incentive to lie about her schedule.

What is the consensus on AP watching other kids while caring for your own child/children? For example, if you have friends over for dinner, is it ok to watch the children of the other family/families? Would you compensate them additionally, and how much?
