I employ a nanny. I would never trust a high school student, no matter how conscientious, to set up a healthy routine for my baby, to comfort him to sleep, or to offer care suggestions. So my nanny need not be afraid of THAT competition. Most foreign workers, if they are legal and speak passable English, quickly integrate wit the rest of the English-speaking nanny market. They too want to make more money, not to make you happy.
