If possible, we are looking for someone to drop him off and occasionally pick him ups. Some light housekeeping would be helpful. We require that you have your own car and that you really enjoy what you do. Must have references.
No lodging provided

Kids: currently 10 months and due in Nov...
So, 15 months and newborn, and heavy cleaning?
I wouldn’t even consider this position based on the first sentence alone. “Tight ship” means a**hole/controlling parent and that wouldn’t work for my personality. I think parents seriously need to think about what they post. If they wouldn’t take a position in their field of work with that description why would they think someone else would.

Are you effing kidding me?!!!! 600/45= $13.33/hr for twin girls and running errands?! This mom is out of her mind!!! I emailed her and told her that $13.33 was too low. Maybe that’s all she can afford though. If so, she’s better off putting her girls in day care. I wouldn’t accept this low salary.
I agree this is low, but you do know that daycare would probably cost more, not less right?
I think a lot of Nannies have the misconception that daycare is cheap childcare, its not.

Full time for $8,000 a year is only $3.85 an hour. I'm not sure how this is an actual job. Even school bus drivers make more than this, and they're about the lowest paid employees I can think of. My BIL drove school buses for a while in between jobs, and it's not a sustainable gig, and neither is this.
