I'm sorry this is difficult, but we all have difficult seasons in our jobs. You're coming off really badly here.
Pp here from page 1. This is one of the strangest threads I have seen to date here. Op came in here to just blow off some steam and ask for suggestions and got the advice she was looking for. I don’t really understand the snarky responses and where she is showing herself to have an attitude with the mother. Am I the only one that read everything (though it was a lot, no offense but you do use many words op) she said?
I’m sorry but as a mother with a new born I was too exhausted to be discussing things about Facebook when the nanny is trying to focus on the kids. It’s difficult enough for my husband and myself to keep young kids entertained and distracted all day. If anything I would relish in the presence of the relief and rest while she was there and try to help maintain the consistency of her position so I wouldn’t be hiring another nanny before I headed back to work.
Granted there are going to be some adjustments but honestly what’s wrong with having a moment of peace in a long day or minimal distractions if it’s possible?

I know from experience just how tough these jobs can be, but if she will be returning back to work soon, maybe you can suck it up a bit more vs. quitting.....??
