There are a lot of shirts with Boss themes.

Is her shirt actually reflective of her attitude or does she have a good attitude and is never late but wears those shirts?

I had a nanny who had questionable shirts and taht is why I clicked here. The issue was more like too revealing braless look instead of what it said. I never said anything because it only bothered me a little. She had a great attitude.

If she was wearing shirts like that and it seemed like a passive aggressive way of expressing herself to you wrt her employment, that's a different issue than her choice of wardrobe. An attitude problem. You should address it instead of letting it fester and letting driving you crazy, even if it means making a transition and getting someone else.

Agreed. When working she represents you and your family, as well as setting an example for your child. You would seriously be doing her a professional favor by pointing this out to her.

I'm not sure if it's too late for this since she's worked for you for three months already, but we have somewhat of a dress code in our nanny contract.

We like our nannies to dress modestly and professionally, no visible cleavage, tattoos, no leggings. Everyone is different but this is our preference.
We offer to buy five tops and bottoms, and for our nanny to launder them at our house, she lives in Mon-Fri.

This has worked well for us, but we state it up front.

She sounds like a crazy nanny. I would find another nanny. People at my church nursery wear very revealing clothing. I cringe when I see some of the outfits they wear. We're paid employees too.

Before you employ, tell her everything what you accept and not when it comes to clothes.

I am a nanny in my late 50's. My work tee-shirts have winnie the pooh on them. And mickey mouse. And cookie monster.

Over the years I have learned that I prefer shirts with prints because being a nanny involves a lot of stuff spilled on my shirts. If the shirts have prints and / or designs, you can't see the stains as much. I always wear pants because being a nanny involves a lot of squatting and getting down on the floor. And there was that one day that I learned that I need to always wear stretchy pants. That was the day that baby dropped her toy, I bent over to retrieve the toy while holding baby, and my pants ripped.

My (young) nanny occasionally wears some of these exact shirts, too. It's infrequent enough that I haven't said anything, but I don't love it. If it became a regular thing, I would definitely address it!
