Don’t you teach your children not to name-call people who do not share their perspectives/views??
I am not saying OP is in the right here.
What I AM saying is that if you disagree so much with what he is doing then there are many other ways to let him know w/out resorting to name-calling.
Name-calling online is so juvenile.

Now watch how they all deny it.

Geez.
You guys all act like the OP is a murderer or worse...Harvey Weinstein.
Yes he knows it is illegal.
We ALL know it.
But instead of name-calling, just freakin don’t respond if you have nothing positive to add.
This applies to all posts on here.
People are so mean!
Stop! Are you seriously saying that we should be nice to a criminal who is stealing from us?!! Hiring undocumented workers is a crime and then taking advantage of the worker is a sin. Sorry if you feel that pointing this out is "mean", Idiot. [/

Exactly my point.
Once you start with the name-calling, your response is not going to be taken seriously.
While it is totally okay to disagree, it is never acceptable to call someone a name just because your opinion does not align with theirs.
NP here and I have to agree that you are an idiot. I mean that as a description and not a judgement.

Anonymous wrote:Good lord, you people. How dare you assume that because someone is poor and undocumented they are not a good caregiver. My husband and I have done a lot of work with undereducated and impoverished people living in Central America. There are things that a woman from this group may have to offer my son that are valuable to him and to us and that we CANNOT give him ourselves. We don't need a nanny with a university degree and umc American culture because we already have that to share. People judging me need to take a look in the mirror themselves.
But, because we have worked and lived with the target population, we also understand that it is important not to overpay. That is why I am asking the question.
If anyone else wants to weigh in and has a real answer, I'd be grateful. I'm sure you're out there.

take advantage of the nanny.
No, I'm asking what is the going rate for a nanny with perhaps primary school experience who does not speak English.
