MB here. As a parent and employer, you would do well to work on sticking with your decisions. You told the nanny to pick up your son. She went to the school to do so and there was confusion as to who should pick him up. When the nanny said that you told her to pick up DS, the school should have called YOU. Instead, they called your husband, who should have then checked with YOU. Instead, your husband says he is going to pick up the kid even though the nanny is right there WAITING. WHY?! School waits around a bit and then phones your DH and tells him he might as well let the nanny take DS home. Nanny finally is able to take DS home and then YOU tell her she could have just let him stay at school and be picked up by the afterschool group. Could you be any more wishy-washy as a family? I'm irritated and I don't even know you.
