The very best professional nannies are expected to provide the highest quality of care, not housekeeping duties. Cheap illegals are a dime a dozen to "watch your kids" and clean your house. Why invest in high quality care?

It feels bad that this is the case, but although special needs children require more work and expertise those families are definitely not paying more because of it. They are usually pressed for money as it is, the state pays attendants $11/hr, etc. If anything you will earn less working with special needs.

I also agree with others here, OP you look as if you are playing games and MB's sense that you are all about money.

Now in defense of this nanny, many nannies go to INA, Nanny care HUB and other sites that kind of instigate the game playing. Nannies bragging how they make 30+ an hour, that if you use the A to Z contract or pay and take the training you can get more money. I think this OP has learned a good lesson on here even if some are being snarky about it.
