You are required to pay for the hours actually worked. If she worked from 8 am to 4 pm, then got hurt on your property while fulfilling her job requirements, technically you are liable for her injury, and she would have a case for payment of all hours she was supposed to work in addition to medical bills. Given that she's only asking for payment of hours worked, you are a piece of work.
